My mad scientist and would-be plumber, Mac Cagle is " fixing" my kitchen sink which has been clogged up all week. He says he got the clog... but broke a pipe in the process, and now has an "idea" on how to put it all back " better"..
Mind you, there was some kind of very potent smelling glue being used, when he had this " idea".. he is on his way back to Home Depot. I am sure they love him there. Me, not so much.
Be afraid, be very afraid.
He's baaaaack! I smell glue! ( I picked a bad day to quit sniffing glue!)
Trekked through Target today, and as I walked around, out of the corner of my eye, I spy Archer Farms Butter Crunch Cashews. I say to myself, " Myself, I bet those are mighty tasty. What do you think? " My self must have consulted with me, and I , as I not only put those in my cart, but, the cinnamon crusted pecans landed in there, as well.
I opened the bag of cashews a few minutes ago, and Oh, MY MY MY... I need an intervention.

I mowed my little yard today, with the new " Little Mo", cordless electric mower. and I thought I was going to die. The mower is fine, but, boy I sure wasn't in that heat, even at 4 pm.
Just now, a hard rain started, and I almost cried.. I can hear the grass growing again.

My 8 yo grandson stayed over the other night. He asked me, " Grandma, how did you get that color hair? ( WHITE).It's so beautiful, I love your hair!" So, I smiled and told him when you get older, God gives you this color hair." So, he touches it and smiles, and then he says, " Well, how about your wings?" as he points to the all too familiar floppy under biceps area.
First, I grimace, then I smile again and say, " That is also my gift from God, as he is preparing me to be an angel, with my halo of sparkling hair on my head, and the wings on my arms".. He smiles too, and says, " Cool!"

I was at a convention where Richard Simmons did a " session" with us yrs back. I was very near the front, and prided myself on keeping up with him for about 30 minutes... He smiled at " me" , and said, " Well, since this young lady is doing so well, we will do another 45 mins!" I smiled and waved back at him, and began to dance, and jog my way backwards.... and got the hell outta there. He tried to kill me, lol.

Good news, bad news...
I was afraid I was going blind, rapidly. I had been told I have Diabetic Retinopathy and Cataracts in October 2014- My left eye is rapidly going bad...
I went for exam today, and optician said... wear your glasses all of the time, and come back in a yr, unless it gets even worse... No surgery yet.
I told him I do not make left turns driving any more... I make all
rights. He said, well, 3 rights make a left... I said, Exactly!
Hmmm.
The BLUE phone...
Laura and I were at the gyn office yesterday, and saw this phone... I thought what a horrible color... Then I noticed a chair in the room nearly the same color...I jokingly said to her, wow, they must have gotten a great deal on that phone, they even gave them a free chair...
Next day, we are at the ob office... I see the same phone... I was like OMG... that salesman must have made all the drs one heck of an offer to get rid of those God ugly phones.

Today,
at TGH... in her room, there sits this Fugly phone again! I said, Laura,
either this phone is following us OR that salesman deserves a huge
commission for selling all those BLUE phones to everyone!!!!
The nurse comes in, I comment on the phone. Ah... she says..." Those are Blue Phones!" I think to myself... um, yeah, yes they are... " She says notice they have two headsets.. One is for the patient, one for the Dr, or nurse... When a patient does not speak any English, they both use the phone, and on the other end, is an accurate interpretation of any language or dialect anywhere. This is to help the parties involved communicate, so the dr can get the info he needs, and vice versa."
How cool is that... But, why that FUGLY BLUE? LOL
