Long time, no post

Oh, it has been a long time since posting. I believe last blog was we had found a property and were awaiting the closing info. I had packed. Well, not so fast.

Due to a very ignorant realtor, the seller lost our interest.  His realtor actually provided us with information regarding the home that was inaccurate, and failed to disclose flaws that would prohibit any lender from financing that property. She even tried to bilk us of our Earnest Money Deposit, but, thanks to my realtor, and my attention to details, we won our funds back.

Since that time, we have found another home, which, we should be finding out the information on tomorrow, about the FHA appraisal, and see where we go from there. Hoping big time.

Meanwhile, life has gone on. I am still doing God's will, to feed people, by continuing on with my church's Meals on Wheels program, and feeding the Homeless breakfasts. I packed a few more boxes.. if I pack one more, there will be no room for me here in my woman cave, for real.  

Two weeks ago, my DH asked me, where was the waffle iron? "Um, it's packed , dear." " Do you remember which box it is in, hon? I just whipped up some waffle batter for us." "Why yes, dear, it is in one of the 11 boxes marked kitchen stuff.."
" What do you want me to do with this batter?" Loaded question... but, I smile and say, " Make pancakes". Tad ah!!!

Seriously? I have had a waffle iron for 5 yrs, and the last time we used it was probably a year ago.

Sigh, I do love that man.

Updating forward from 2017 to now!

We had found our home in a small city with a lot of old charm. Our home is a 1932 craftsman style home, with 2 bedrooms, 2 baths, and the interior had been all updated with beautiful granite countertops, wood cabinets, wood looking porcelain tile floors! Beautiful home and I fell in love with being here.
